1 yellow onion
1 clove of garlic
Chilli to taste
1 tbsp of olive oil
The juice and skin (just the yellow bits) from a lemon.
0,5 tsp salt
1 pinch of black pepper
0,5 tbsp brown sugar
1 green apple
0,5 dl sliced celery
2 dl fresh blueberries (Sápmi-grown if possible, the American variety is somewhat different in taste).
Blueberry salsa with apples and onions
This tasty and vitamin-packed blueberry salsa is a fresh barbecue side-dish that goes well with both fish and meat.
Chop the onion, garlic and chilli then fry them in oil.
Roughly chop the tomatoes and add them to the pan.
Reduce for 20 minutes whilst stirring continuously.
Then add juice, lemon peel, salt, black pepper and sugar.
Peel and cube the apple.
Fold the apple, celery and blueberries into the tomato mixture.
